EARLY SYMBOLIC SYSTEMS
On 19 April 2002 the Karlovo ESF Workshop participants visited Stara Zagora, one of the richest in prehistoric investigations regions in Bulgaria. They were hosted by Petur Kalchev, the Director of the Museum of History in Stara Zagora.

STAROSEL TEMPLE-TOMB
In front of the Neolithic Dwellings Museum. It is a unique exposition which keeps the ruins of two Early Neolithic dwellings documented during rescue  excavations of a tell situated on this place. A part of the profile of this tell (Stara Zagora - Okruzhna Bolnitsa) can be also seen  in situ in the museum.
