Cultural Events of 2007 in Salt Lake City and Its Neighborhood

This year the International Institute of Anthropology, Salt Lake City, Utah, has initiated nominations of cultural
events of 2007 in Salt Lake City and its neighborhood. It is a part of a long-term scholar research on
Anthropology of everydayness. The goal of the nominations is to reveal the most liked, attractive and original
cultural events during 2007 and in this way to acknowledge the role of Salt Lake in producing and reproducing
quality culture as a mega-multicultural city of interacted communities. The categories are open – e.g. the best
concert, performers, discussions, presentations of books, folk programs, exhibits, community events etc.

Please visit our website at
to see some of the already nominated events.
