Anthropology of Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, is a world multicultural center. It is the best known
for its
Genealogy library - one of the greatest world  cultural achievements
without any analogy. The newly opened
Argosy University and The Art Institute
of Salt Lake City in Draper, Salt Lake County have expanded the opportunity
for professional knowledge and development of creativity of the young
generations.

The multicultural megacity hosts numerous cultural events during the year
and there are interactions between social groups and different ethnic
communities that require a very special interest because of the unique way of
production of the human culture.

Salt Lake City is a extremely valuable city for the cultural anthropologists
researching the past and the present of the human culture since many
traditional elements can be traced in the everydayness of the communities of
the Salt Lake County, as well as it is a field of innovative projects as a part of
the values of the global society.

Salt Lake City is a place of less observed negative sides of the human
everydayness and an instance of the positive dynamic reproduction of values
keeping the belief that the human civilization is possibly the best creature in
the world.

The IIA webpages on anthropology of Salt Lake City authored by Dr Lolita
Nikolova are from perspectives of a cultural anthropologist, who has been
living in the city since 2001. I am trying to document places that I like, people I
meet, and events that I attend, as well as to include external links to other
websites related to the topic (
