The series
Reports of Prehistoric Research Projects is the scholar periodical of International Institute of Anthropology (Salt Lake City, Utah, USA) published in collaboration
with recognized academic and educational institutions all over the world. It has presented individual and group archaeological and anthropological projects which main
focus is Prehistory and especially Balkan Prehistory. We also include anthropological projects from different historical periods to Present that contribute to advance our
knowledge in Prehistory.
Vol. 9 of Reports of Prehistoric Research Projects is a join project of International Institute of Anthropology and Stratum (Moldova) to express the anthropologists’ gratitude
to Ian Hodder for his 60th Birth Anniversary (23rd  November  2008). The authors included in the volumes were personally invited by RPRP to contribute in this special issue.
The editors acknowledge their warmhearted prompt response that made possible this publication on time.
